Following the municipal elections in March 2026, the Board of Directors of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise Tourist Office met on May 20, 2026, to elect its new leadership. The Board of Directors of the Tourist Office is composed of local and regional elected officials.

On that occasion, Claudine Lanfrey was elected president of the Tourist Office. She succeeds Yann Chaboissier, who had held the position for six years.

A native of Valfréjus, Claudine Lanfrey has a deep understanding of the region’s tourism industry. Formerly the manager of the Le Grand Vallon hotel and later the owner of the Le Petit Chamois restaurant, she worked in the tourism sector for many years before entering local public life.
