The 2024-2025 winter season is approaching, and the program of events organized or supported by the Tourist Office is ready. A dense schedule of sporting competitions, major concerts and festivities in the various Haute Maurienne Vanoise resorts.

On the program:

• Saturday, November 2, 2024: Bessans is once again the 1st ski resort to open in France with the Ski Nordic Opening Winter (S.N.O.W). Numerous activities and events are offered free of charge on site.

• Wednesday November 27 and Thursday November 28, 2024 the Samse National tour of cross-country skiing takes place in Bessans. This stage of the championship is dedicated to up-and-coming cross-country skiers.
  

• November 30, 31 and December 1, 2024, after cross-country skiing, it's time for biathlon with the Samse national biathlon tour in Bessans.
  

• In Val Cenisecember 14th and 15th : the resort celebrates 10 years of Tous en Piste. A great event to launch the winter season!

• January 11 and 12, 2025, more than a thousand skiers are expected for the the 46ᵉ edition of the Bessans International Marathon.

• The resorts of Aussois, Bessans, Bonneval sur Arc and Val Cenis will be hosting from January 17 to 19, 2025 the 21ᵉ edition of La Grande Odyssée, one of the biggest sled dog races in the world. Numerous events are on the program.
  

• See you in Val Cenis, January 18-25, 2025: the Festival National d'Accordéon celebrates its 23ᵉ edition in Val Cenis. On the program: concerts, "Off" evenings in the bars and artists from all over France.

• Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc, January 31st, February 1st and 2nd 2025: new edition of the Grand course, an ice climbing event. An opportunity to learn or perfect this activity in the heart of the "Terre d'alpinisme" ski resorts.

• La Norma, on February 12 and 26, 2025 a new episode of Adventure Game Winter, a great game on the slopes and in the resort for fans of puzzles and challenges.

• In Val Cenis, awarded the Flocon Vert label, from Monday 03 to Thursday 06 March 2025, Nature et Ski returns for a 4ᵉ edition. On the program: skiing, walks, workshops to raise awareness of sustainable development, meetings, film screenings, conferences and nature events in collaboration with the Vanoise National Park.
  

• On March 5 and 6, 2025, Valfréjus presents the 3ᵉ edition of the Vertical Music Experience.DJ atmosphere on the slopes and great free concerts in the resort.
  

• Bonneval sur Arc, March 15, 2025: the resort once again welcomes France's top freedriders for the Freeride World Tour Qualifier.
  

• In Valfréjus, March 18-20, 2025 second edition of the Boarderline, three days of skiing and entertainment, including a Freeride World Tour Qualifier stage on the Punta Bagna slopes.
  

• March 29 and 30, 2025, the French Masters Championships will be held in Bessans (dates to be confirmed).
