Summer 2024 transit news:
Line 1:
- A single line serving five major sites: L'Orgère-Modane-Valfréjus-La Norma-Redoute Marie Thérèse
- La Redoute Marie-Thérèse, a key tourist attraction in Haute Maurienne Vanoise, is now served by line 1.
- Line 1 also provides a direct link between L'Orgère and Valfréjus, particularly convenient for hikers on the GR5.
Improved connections :
- Increased connections between the transverse line (S53) and the Bellecombe line (2), making journeys even smoother and faster.
Departures from Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne :
- Routes S52 and S53 will offer departures from Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, facilitating train arrivals. Some routes will depart from Modane, but will connect with TER buses.
Line S52 frequency increased :
- More frequent service between Modane, Aussois and Val Cenis on line S52, enabling more flexible half-day trips between these towns.
Lines without reservation at the beginning and end of the season:
- Routes S52 and S53 will be available without reservation at the start and end of the season, offering more spontaneity for your travels.

Unlimited access to Haute Maurienne Vanoise buses (S52 + S53 + line 1) is included with resort activity passes: Pass Valfréjus, Pass Aussois, Pass La Norma, Pass Val Cenis (except Saturday for S52 and S53).
Also included with your Pass: activities, lifts + discounts on a hundred other activities.

Lines 1, 3 and 5 (daily) as well as lines S52 and S53 (daily except Saturdays) are accessible with :
- a book of 10 tickets at 15€ (purchase at the Tourist Office or Maison Cantonale de Modane)
- a weekly Mobility Pass for 15€ (available from the Tourist Office or Maison Cantonale de Modane)
- a Season Mobility Pass for €30 (purchase at the Modane Tourist Office or MC)
- HMV 23/24 annual pass (except on line 5)
- by paying a single ticket directly to the driver
Special features:
Routes S52 and S53: reservations strongly recommended on Saturdays at vente.cars-region-savoie.fr
Tickets sold on line 1 are day tickets. With this ticket, you can use the service as many times as you like during the day.
2 tickets in a 10-ticket book are equivalent to one day ticket.
Line 3 is accessible with 2 tickets from the 10-ticket book for a one-way trip, and 3 tickets for a round trip.
Line 5 is accessible with a 10-ticket booklet or a single ticket purchased at the Tourist Office.
