The Haute Maurienne Vanoise Tourist Office is responsible for promoting, communicating, welcoming, informing, marketing and animating the 6 resorts/villages of Haute Maurienne Vanoise: Valfréjus, La Norma, Aussois, Val Cenis, Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc.

We are hiring camp counselors for the 2026 summer season.

Reporting to the site manager, the position is defined as follows:

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and inform visitors in compliance with the standards and procedures defined in the Qualité Tourisme standard (physical and telephone reception).
  • Promoting the resort and Haute Maurienne Vanoise offer
  • Manage customer relations : handle complaints and suggestions and propose alternative solutions
  • Sell products and services provided by the tourist office and its partners (cash register management)
  • Organize your reception area: layout, organization, document stock management....
  • Carry out various administrative tasks (input into activity indicators, etc.)
Qualifications
Valfréjus and Modane
  • Opened in 1983, Valfréjus is one of France's youngest resorts. Valfréjus is a young, compact resort, and a place for vacations with friends or family, with a complete hotel club offering. With its fun atmosphere, the center is transformed into a large space dedicated to entertainment for all. In the heart of a preserved environment, sports activities and a variety of unusual experiences are on offer in summer and winter alike.
  • 2 vacancies in Valfréjus and 1 in Modane.
  • Dates: June 29 through August 28.
La Norma
  • Located at an altitude of 1350 m, on a vast wooded plateau with magnificent views over the Vanoise National Park and the Haute Maurienne Vanoise valley. La Norma is the family resort par excellence, with activities for the whole family.
  • 3 positions to be filled.
  • Dates: June 23 to September 4.
Aussois
  • Aussois is a friendly, lively, and authentic village located at the gateway to Vanoise National Park. This year-round resort village boasts a rich heritage and a well-preserved natural environment. It’s the ideal base camp for a multi-activity getaway in the heart of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise region. Rock climbing, mountain biking, trail running… these are sporting experiences the whole family can enjoy, from experts to beginners.

  • Dates: June 22 to August 30.
Val Cenis
  • On the Italian border, Val Cenis is a multi-faceted destination: family-friendly and sporty, authentic and innovative, relaxing and lively, generous and sincere. An innovative resort with a daily commitment to eco-responsible development. A vacation destination for friends and family, with wide-open spaces in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, history, heritage and unlimited activities to explore.
  • 5 positions available (including 1 part-time position)
  • Dates: June 15 to September 6.
Bessans
  • Situated at an altitude of 1750 m on a unique plateau, Bessans is a traditional village, typical of Haute Maurienne Vanoise, bordering the Vanoise National Park and Italy. It's an ideal place to recharge your batteries and get some fresh air with friends and family. An authentic village with a rich heritage, lively traditions and legends.
  • Two positions available, split between Bessans and Bonneval-sur-Arc (one of which is part-time).
  • Dates: June 24 to August 30.
Bonneval sur Arc
  • At the foot of the legendary Col de l'Iseran pass, perched at an altitude of 1850 m, this charming resort features stone chalets with lauze roofs. A listed village with an "end-of-the-world" atmosphere and authentic, exceptional architecture. The ideal place to stay for lovers of high mountains and wide open spaces. A sure bet for sporting experiences immersed in nature.
Skills

We're looking for skills more than a diploma! You must :

  • Listen to holidaymakers and make suggestions to meet their needs
  • Be available and adaptable
  • Concentrate and resist the crowds
  • Computer skills (pack office)
  • Proficiency in 2 foreign languages: professional English and another language
  • Driver's license and vehicle
The little plus :
  • Successful experience as a tourist office receptionist
  • Good knowledge of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise region
Job benefits
  • Seasonal fixed-term positions from mid-June/late June to late August/early September, depending on the resort
  • Full-time or part-time positions according to your availability
  • Help in finding accommodation (usually shared)
  • Compensation: Salary scale under the collective bargaining agreement for tourism organizations, i.e., €1,896 gross (€1,900.65 gross effective July 1) + premium for Sunday and holiday hours + housing allowance if you do not live in the area (50% of the rent, capped at €200)
