We're looking for our year-round activities coordinator for the Valfréjus resort.
Do you like taking the microphone to set the mood for fun and festivity? Valfréjus is the resort for all kinds of winter sports! Come and put together an entertainment program in this spirit of sharing in collaboration with the Happy Resort school!
Your missions
Design and implementation of the animation program
- Design a program of self-produced events, taking into account customer expectations and the marketing positioning of the area and resort (boardculture, snow sports, festive and intergenerational spirit).
- Implement (microphones, games, fun sports activities) the entertainment program on site (terraces, outdoor stage, sports area, auditorium) with your team.
- Lead, with or in addition to the team, the various programmed elements and be the team leader.
- Involve the animation school in program design
Promotion of the animation program
- Description of each event in APIDAE software
- Organization of the distribution of the animation program and other visuals
Logistics and human resources management
- Logistical management of storage facilities, equipment and vehicles
- Management of a team of 2 people (setting objectives, leading team meetings, individual appraisals, time management, setting up work schedules, etc.).
- Co-management of students during shared activities
- Managing the mission budget
- Support and back-up for events managed by the events department
- Hosting and accompanying scheduled external service providers
Relations with professional socios and associations
- Maintain and strengthen the network of contacts (associations, service providers, retailers, institutions, technical services, etc.).
The ideal animation referent
- You have the impeccable demeanor required by the job of animator
- You are autonomous, available, dynamic and able to make suggestions.
- You enjoy working in a team and being in contact with customers.
- You have at least 3 seasons' successful experience as a tourism coordinator and 2 seasons as a manager.
- You have good interpersonal skills and know how to be diplomatic.
- You are flexible and mobile
- You have a good presentation
Technical skills
- Set up and run a complete weekly program for all family targets (teenagers, children, adults).
- Knowledge of and interest in animation in general and resort animation in particular
- Understanding the issues and problems associated with mountain activities
- Knowledge of the mountain environment
- Initiative
- Organization, anticipation and planning
- Good public communication skills (ease with a microphone)
- Sound and light control
- Computer skills (Pack Office, Apidae)
- Budget management
- Controlling and optimizing working hours
- Writing skills
- Skiing skills
Terms and conditions
Full-time CDI position to be filled as soon as possible, based in Valfréjus.
Work weekends and holidays in season. Remuneration in accordance with the CCN des organismes de tourisme, step 2.1 - index 1680 (€2066.40 gross per month) Supervisor status. Additional pay for Sundays, public holidays and nights.
