Description

Situated between the Vanoise National Park and Italy, Haute Maurienne Vanoise is a natural, unspoilt destination where you can enjoy sporting and cultural activities all year round.

The Haute Maurienne Vanoise Tourist Office is responsible for promoting, communicating, welcoming, informing, marketing and animating these 6 ski resorts: Valfréjus, La Norma, Aussois, Val Cenis, Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc.

We are looking for our student event coordinator (M/F) to start on July 1, 2025 for a period of one year.

As part of a team of 5 event coordinators, you will actively contribute to the organization of events such as the Festival National d'Accordéon, Nature et Ski, the French Freeride series, the outdoor urban festival, the enduro des alpes etc., with a large proportion of administrative and office activities.

You will work closely with our internal teams as well as our external partners, and will be involved in the administrative follow-up and management of logistical tasks for the event.

The missions

event preparation and management

  • Participate in preparatory working meetings for events and propose minutes of these meetings.
  • Ensure daily follow-up / propose a workload plan / ensure its implementation.
  • Request quotations from companies or service providers.
  • Follow up validation of quotes and processing of invoices with the accounting department.
  • Manage the forecast and actual budget for each event.
  • Fulfill administrative formalities related to events (Mairie, Préfecture, Gendarmerie, etc.)
  • Write and send grant applications to institutions.

Operational event management

  • Be present at events to ensure that they run smoothly
  • Organize and implement material and human logistics
  • Manage teams: SPL, volunteers, etc.
  • Occasional support for other members of the department on pre-targeted events.

Event assessment

  • Evaluate events to ensure they meet defined objectives (financial, attendance, brand awareness)
  • Propose a complete review of each event
  • Make suggestions for improving the event
  • Set up and analyze satisfaction questionnaires when the event permits

 

Qualifications
  • Knowledge and use of IT tools, in particular the Office pack
  • Budgetary and administrative management of an event
  • Ad hoc team management
  • Knowledge of the APIDAE information collection and management system would be a plus

 

Profile required
  • B driving licence essential
  • Master 1 or 2 in Event Management
  • First experience in tourism and/or public events is highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of the mountain environment & knowledge of the territory
    HMV
  • Good stress management and ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Reactive, resourceful and rigorous
  • Perfect French copywriting
